Our final robot, showcased at the New York Excelsior Regional Championships, was the culmination of our design process. Building upon the precise pixel pickup capability of our V3 robot, it achieved an impressive hanging time of just 2 seconds, a significant improvement from the 10 seconds of our previous iteration. A standout upgrade was the integration of a drone that consistently secured second and first landing zones during matches, adding those few extra points. Furthermore, the robot boasted custom-made aluminum side plates meticulously cut from our Gene Haas mini mill, increasing its durability and enhancing overall performance on the competition field.
